In 2021, students can sign-up to study at Hong Bang International University (HIU) by 6 methods. Students can choose one or several methods that suit best to sign up. Base on specific method, time and date for sign-up can be different according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In 2021, students can sign-up to study at Hong Bang International University (HIU) by one of 6 following methods:
Method 1: National high school graduation examination grade.
Method 2: High school academic records.
Method 3: University entrance examination grade, operates by HIU
Method 4: Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) grade.
Method 5: Direct Admission
Method 6: National Universities Entrance examination grade.
Students can choose one or several methods that suit best to sign up. Base on specific method, time and date for sign-up can be different according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- National high school graduation examination grade
For students take part in the 2021 national high school graduation examination.
HIU admit base on the subject follow by the regulation of the Ministry of Education and Training and announce the admit grade for specific courses, the grade cannot be lower than the quality assurance input of HIU’s regulations.
- High school academic records
- Based on average score of 3 subject combination
Base on grade 12th average score of 3 subjects:
Admit score = Subject 1 average score + Subject 2 average score + Subject 3 average score + priority score (if have) >= 18 points
- Based on average score of 5 semester
Admit score = Grade 10th 1st semester average score + Grade 10th 2nd semester average score + Grade 11th 1st semester average score + Grade 11th 2nd semester score + Grade 12th 1st semester score +priority score (if have) >= 30 points
- Based on 3 year academic record
Admit score = Grade 10th average score + Grade 11th average score + Grade 12th average score + priority score (if have) >= 18 points
* For courses relate to the school of Health and Education, the university will admit following the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Students can enroll by one of the three ways: submit the documents direct to HIU, via post-office or online enrollment on: http://online.hiu.vn/
- University entrance examination grade, operates by HIU
Students can enroll in 3 subjects tests for the examination operate by HIU.
Subjects are: Math, literature, Science, Chemistry, Biology, English, Physical Education skills, Arts skills, Early Education skills.
HIU will admit for the subject base on the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and take the score from higher to lower for all the course, the grade cannot be lower than the quality assurance input of HIU’s regulations.
- Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) grade
Student can enroll for this method with the SAT score of 800 or above.
- Direct Admission
Direct admission based on direct interview and fulfill specific requirement of each course.
- National Universities Entrance examination grade
Students who already took part in the 2021 National Universities Entrance examination with the score of 600 (combine with the priority score if have) can use this method for enrollment.
For courses that require specific skills, student will be required to submit the score of these skills for enrollment. The score can be from the test operate by HIU or from other universities.
