During a business trip to India, on September 2, 2023, representative of HIU Board of Directors – Deputy Teacher HT. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan together with Dr. Nguyen Thanh Duc – Head of the Faculty of Medicine, PhD. Vu Thi Phuong Anh – Deputy Director of the Institute of International Training and Cooperation had a meeting to greet, work and visit the medical examination and treatment facility at Yatharth Hospital of Yatharth Group, India.
Welcoming and working with the HIU delegation were Mr. Col Rajnish Handa – Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development of Yatharth Group and the team of Department Heads at Yatharth Hospital.
At the meeting, the Vice Principal shared about the general situation of medical training in the country in general and the medical training situation of HIU in particular. Currently, HIU is training more than 41 Indian medical students and will accept many new students this year. Mr. Tuan further shared that training Indian students at HIU not only diversifies the number of international students studying at the school as well as enhances the international character of the University. In particular, HIU is the first training unit in Vietnam to accept Indian students immediately after the Covid-19 epidemic situation was controlled.
HIU is currently gradually developing a strong partner network, with international standard training programs, etc. to ensure the best quality and learning experience of international students at the school.
During the meeting, representatives of Yatharth hospital shared their joy and thanked the HIU delegation for coming to meet and visit the hospital’s medical examination and treatment facility. The hospital representative further shared that Yatharth hospital has more than 400 beds and a team of experienced doctors and technicians. Additionally, the hospital has been certified by the National Accrediting Commission for Hospitals & Healthcare provider. The hospital not only prioritizes investing in the expertise of its team of doctors but also focuses on investing in modern equipment, new technology, and modern methods to serve patients most effectively.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides had a deeper understanding of each other as well as agreed on the potential that the two organizations have for future cooperation. With the advantages that the two organizations can bring, representatives of Yatharth hospital and the working group will unanimously maintain and further develop this relationship to develop together and comply with the spirit of the relationship. diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India.
