On February 28, 2024, Hong Bang International University (HIU) held a meeting with Dankook University (South Korea) to discuss the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and cooperation on the development of a research project applying and developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology through online oral health diagnosis and monitoring software.

Main points of discussion, the two sides discussed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that would establish a framework for ongoing collaboration between the two universities in the areas of scientific research and training. Furthermore, HIU and Dankook discussed their collaborative endeavor to create Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for online monitoring and diagnosis of oral health. Examining the possible use of artificial intelligence (AI) software for automated oral health monitoring and diagnostics in order to enhance the efficacy of oral health treatment for mothers and children.
Results: The meeting took place in an open and cooperative atmosphere. The two sides agreed on the main contents of the cooperation and committed to implementing the project effectively. The cooperation with Dankook University promises to bring many benefits to HIU, especially in improving the quality of training and scientific research in the field of dentistry, and at the same time improving oral health care for the community.
With this cooperation, HIU hopes to contribute to improving oral health care for mothers and children, and at the same time promote the application of AI technology in the medical field in Vietnam.
