At 1:00 PM on November 22, 2023, the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Faculty of Technology – Engineering, Hong Bang International University (HIU) had the honor of welcoming the TUV SUD Multinational Group. This meeting was an opportunity for the two sides to exchange, discuss and build cooperation opportunities in the field of training.
The goal of this cooperation is to bring practical values to HIU students, including:
• Opportunities to exchange and learn from leading experts in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management
. • Developing the necessary skills to meet the needs of the labor market.
• Expanding job opportunities after graduation, contributing to reducing the brain drain.
Attending the meeting were representatives from both sides:
– Representatives from Hong Bang International University:
• Dr. Tran Van Hung – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Technology – Engineering.
• Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Van – Institute of International Education & Engagement.
• Dr. Dang Thanh Tuan – Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• MSc. Nguyen Ngo Truong An – Deputy Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• MSc. Tran Kim Phong – Lecturer of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• 10 excellent students from the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
– Representatives from TUV SUD Group:
• Mr. Foo Soo Guan – Senior Vice President of Training and Management System Certification in Southeast Asia of TUV SUD.
• Mr. Lee Kai Yang Branson – Senior Director of Training in Southeast Asia and Management System Certification Service in Malaysia and Vietnam of TUV SUD.
• Mr. Tran Thanh Phong – General Director of TUV SUD Vietnam Group.
• Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong – Head of Business Department in charge of Training and Certification of TUV SUD Vietnam.
It is believed that the cooperation between HIU and TUV SUD will bring many benefits to students and contribute to improving the training quality of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at HIU.
