Chức năng: Xây dựng kế hoạch nghiên cứu khoa học. Tiếp nhận và triển khai các dự án, đề tài nghiên cứu khoa học cấp trường, cấp địa phương, cấp Nhà nước. Theo dõi, quản lý tiến độ thực hiện và tổ chức nghiệm thu các dự án nghiên cứu khoa học. Tổ chức và mở rộng kết nối với các đơn vị nghiên cứu trong nước và quốc tế

Training Doctor of Dental Surgery with medical ethics, knowledge and basic professional skills in medicine and odonto-stomatology to identify, diagnose, participate in solving problems in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial diseases for individuals and communities.
Doctor of Dental Surgery must also be capable of conducting scientific research, improving their qualifications by self-study to meet the needs of the people to protect and care for oral health.
C1. Apply basic scientific, biomedical, medical, and maxillofacial knowledge to the operation of oral health for individuals and communities.
C2. Apply critical thinking and expertise in evidence-based dental decision-making and patient design.
C3. Carry out examination, synthesis, and evaluation of clinical and paraclinical information, diagnosis of common oral and maxillofacial diseases and comprehensive and appropriate planning.
C4. Handle the dental health equipment requirements of patients of all ages at the facility.
C5. Receive, prevent, and perform primary treatment of molars and teeth at the facility.
C6. Preventing and improving oral health for individuals and the community with information, education, dental health operations and linkage coordination.
C7. Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes and determine future treatment needs.
C8. Implement oral health care on the principle of taking the patient as the center.
C9. Communicate appropriately with the community, patients, and colleagues to create trust and consensus in oral health care practice.
C10. Professional practice in Odonto-Stomatology complies with the law, ethical standards, and regulations of the profession.
