Welcome to School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation
HIU’s undergraduate and graduate lecturers are training staff of Physiotherapists who are highly qualified and adhere to medical ethics from reputations universities in Vietnam. Trainees can have chance to learn, practice skill and do scientific researchers with material facilities and practice equipment meeting international standard.
In addition, students will be clinical practice regularly at the system of hospitals under the Ministry of Health and Health of Service, the system of private and international hospitals, etc…
After graduating in the bachelor’s degree at HIU, students can study for higher research degree as master of Physical Therapy or doctorate degree in cooperation with globally renowned universities and lifelong learning to improve their professional and qualifications.

Career pathways
– Physiotherapists pursue a clinical career assessing and treating patients may include public and private hospitals, specialist clinics, rehabilitation centers, home care programmes….
– Some physiotherapists pursue a career in academia to undertake research to further the evidence base for assessing and treating patients and to teach physiotherapy students.
– Physiotherapists work in public health organizations or community centres.
– Startup own business as consulting, assessing and treating about Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.

- Working in Institutes, Hospitals, Nursing Centers – Rehabilitation, Orthopedic – Rehabilitation Centers in public and private medical facilities in the country.
- Working with hospitals – Rehabilitation centers from abroad that have signed agreements with Vietnam in the matter of human resource exchange.
- Start your own business as consulting, examination and treatment services in the field of Physiotherapy – Rehabilitation.

HAPPY WORLD Physiotherapy Day – HAPPY WORLD PT DAY
70 years ago, on September 8, the Confederation of Physiotherapy, now the World Association of Physiotherapy, was born marking the role of Physiotherapy in treatment and patient care. The Department of Physiotherapy- Rehabilitation Hiu wishes the physiotherapists good health and success in their chosen work, especially during the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. of Physiotherapy is not small.
Today is also exactly a month that teachers and students of the Department of Physiotherapy-Rehabilitation set out to participate in the treatment and care of patient F0 at the COVID-19 Resuscitation Hospital (2-Three Tumor Oncology Hospital).
