On January 23, 2021, Hong Bang International University (HIU) organized a seminar “Search for your own cultural identity". Seminar’s aim is to provide students with important knowledge and cultural values, along with the skills to find and shape their own cultural identity in the period of cultural integration.
The seminar was successful with the participation of more than 300 students of Hong Bang International University along with more than 100 teachers and students from high schools such as Tran Dai Nghia High School, Mac Dinh Chi High School, Gia High School Dinh.
The seminar was presented by the speaker Assoc.Prof.Dr. Jakob Pastoetter – President of the German Association for Scientific Research on Gender. At the Seminar, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Jakob Pastoetter shared with lecturers and students and students about the concept of culture, the value of national cultural identity, self, the model “Culture under the iceberg" and the self-worth. Vietnam’s national cultural identity as well as the value of national cultural identity in the integration period.
The seminar “Finding one’s own cultural identity" co-organized by the School of International Education, the The Office of Research Affairs and International Relations took place with a unique discussion about cultural identity of yourself among the students of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Jakob Pastoetter. This is also an opportunity to help students understand more about how to position their own cultural identity in the period of globalization.
