On March 9, 2023, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Hong Bang International University (HIU) and Southwestern University, PHINMA, Philippines was solemnly held at HIU campus.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of the partner were Dr. Lohindren V. Adorable, Doctor of Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist – Vice President of Southwestern University.
Representing HIU were Dr. Lam Hoai Phuong – Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc – Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education & Engagement; and Master Nguyen Thi Huong – Acting Head of the Faculty of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation.
Under the cooperation agreement, soon, the two universities will coordinate to organize student and faculty exchange programs. Specifically, HIU students majoring in Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation will have the opportunity to go to Southwestern University for short-term study periods. At the same time, HIU will also welcome lecturers and students from the partner university to exchange academic knowledge and experience.
The MoU signing ceremony marks the beginning of a strong cooperative relationship between HIU and Southwestern University. This is an opportunity for students and lecturers of the two universities to enhance academic exchange, share knowledge and experience, contributing to improving training quality and developing the Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation field at both universities.
