· Research Interests: My primary experience has been in the area of applied microbiology to improve plant growth and quality. First, I pursue multilevel molecular markers including genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics approaches to discover and understand bioactive compounds (isoflavones, saponins) production in legume (Glycine max, G. soja, and common bean). I have identified several novel bacteria exert beneficial effects on legumes. More currently, I interested in identified interaction of microbe-host on human disease. I found that some bacteria (probiotics) and its metabolites (postbiotics) could exert benefits effect on anticancer, anti-inflammatory and cholesterol lowering. The combining probiotics and prebiotics (polysaccharides and phytochemicals) enhance these effects on cells and mice models.
